Terms of Service

Akmil is intended to be available worldwide and may be used by users under 18. Users who are minors should use Akmil with the involvement or supervision of a parent, legal guardian, teacher, school, or other responsible adult where appropriate.

An account is required to use the Akmil application. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the security of your account credentials, keeping your account information reasonably up to date, and activities occurring through your account.

Please contact Akmil if you believe your account has been compromised.

Akmil provides tools and features designed to support Quran memorization, revision, practice, learning, progress tracking, and related activities.

Akmil is a technology platform. It does not replace qualified teachers, scholars, parents, guardians, or other appropriate educational guidance.

Akmil may include ELO ratings, rankings, leaderboards, achievements, XP or other progression, online matches, challenges, or competitions. As Akmil develops, these features may be adjusted, changed, reset, suspended, or discontinued. Akmil does not promise that any ranking, score, reward, or feature will remain permanent or continuously available.

Akmil may offer both free and paid features. Premium features may include additional functionality made available through a subscription.

The exact features, prices, trial periods, billing terms, and availability presented to you at the time of purchase will govern the applicable Premium offering.

You must use Akmil lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Akmil or another user’s account.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities.
• Use automated methods to abuse the service.
• Manipulate rankings, ELO, XP, achievements, or other progression systems unfairly.
• Cheat in ways that undermine competitive features.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Upload or submit unlawful or harmful material where such functionality exists.
• Use Akmil for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

Akmil and its associated branding, name, logo, software, interface, design, original content, and other materials are owned by Akmil or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You receive a limited right to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Akmil’s proprietary materials except where permitted by law or with permission.

Where Akmil allows you to submit content, you remain responsible for what you submit and must have the rights necessary to submit it. This provision does not mean that Akmil offers public posting or community features.

Akmil is provided on an evolving basis. Features may be added, modified, suspended, or discontinued. Akmil does not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.

Akmil may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, prevent abuse or unauthorized activity, address violations of these Terms, or comply with legal obligations. You may stop using Akmil at any time.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Akmil is provided on an “as available” basis. Akmil does not guarantee specific memorization, educational, competitive, or personal outcomes. Akmil is a supporting technology tool and does not guarantee that using the platform will produce a particular Hifdh result.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Akmil will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited remains unaffected, and nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit Akmil to waive.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for reasonable claims, losses, and costs arising directly from your unlawful misuse of Akmil or your material violation of these Terms. This provision does not apply where responsibility cannot lawfully be imposed on you.

The law and procedures applicable to any dispute will be determined in accordance with applicable law, including any mandatory rights or protections available to you. These Terms do not select a particular country, state, court, or private dispute-resolution provider.

Akmil may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by other reasonable means. Continued use after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. The updated version will display a revised “Last Updated” date.
